COCONUT OIL
When I think of coconut oil, I first think of the strong aroma it has, that alone discourages me from after thoughts of using the oil- regardless of its popular testimonials on how good it is for the skin. I guess experience is indeed the best teacher. I used coconut oil for my hair and couldn’t stop using it since then. I have not tried it on my skin, I am still sceptical.
Coconut is got from the fruit of a palm tree. The coconut is shielded inside a thick green bark. Think of it like a giant egg. Coconut is Oval in shape and has a milk fibre surrounding its shell on the inside and water is found in the vacuum of the fruit fibre e.g instead of an egg yolk being there you have coconut water. It can be chewed raw or cooked. It contains a plethora of nutrients, but its selling point is Vitamin E a very good source for nourishing the skin. That is why it is good to know how to make coconut oil.
