ASANTEE PAPAYA & HONEY SOAP/ PRODUCT REVIEW
I know I have been MIA for a while now. I will try to post more often.

No surprise as to why am so hyped to talk about this product

Drum roll please!
The Asantee Papaya & Honey soap.

When I hear papaya and honey in one sentence, (which also happens to be delicious as a meal.) Ding ding ding! Sold!

A part of my New Years resolve is to extensively care for my skin even while trying different body products, Yes. Using skincare products that are not only natural but also contain ingredients that would benefit my skin in the long run.

So, where do you go when you need a helping hand? Spot on--Google! We go to Google.  Google is like that friend you can never have. I came across Asantee Papaya & Honey Soap online. I spent 5 hours looking for a perfect blend of soothing, smoothening and exfoliating without having to raise 'me imaginary budget.' Hehe

Asantee Papaya & Honey soap is a product manufactured in Thailand and is said to contain Q10 + AHA and BHA which is wonderful for taking off dead skin. For those who don’t know

AHA– Alpha Hydroxy Acids

BHA– Beta Hydroxy Acids
are natural/synthetic occurring acids that work by taking off the top layer off your skin which usually is the dead skin cells, increase the thickness of the deeper layers of the skin thereby promoting skin firmness, smoothness and reduces aging signs. And the fact that it promotes deeper penetration for your other skincare products...isn't that amazing!

I used this soap for close to a month and know that that’s enough time for me to make a review on it.

First I'd say you need a sunscreen, a good one. Use preferably at night.

Maybe a good moisturizer too..

The first time I used Asantee ASANTEE PAPAYA & HONEY SOAP, I noticed that my skin was dry, maybe too dry for my liking but my skin felt really smooth and my face was supple to the touch. No trace of oil! Even after hours, no oil. After a week I observed my skin was glowing people around me too noticed this. It took only approx. 11 days for this soap to work its magic, clearing the dark marks, scars and spots gotten from my previous skincare escapades and after 2 weeks I knew my skin had lightened a bit too.

Asantee ASANTEE PAPAYA & HONEY SOAP costs #450 naira only!  Which is $2 (please remember that price may vary depending on your location.)

-Excellent for exfoliating.

-Natural ingredients.

-A bit too drying.
-Doesn't last

TAKEAWAY :

9/10
I would rate this soap 9 OUT OF 10. Isn't it obvious? There are more PROS TO CONS. The fact that I could get all that from one soap is just amazing and I did not use any form of body lotion during the time. I only moisturized using my coconut almond oil and Vitamin E  mixture when my skin became too dry. I would recommend this soap  Asantee Papaya & Honey soap, to anyone searching for a good skin exfoliating soap, without the roughness(grits), one that is affordable. I would strongly advice moisturizing right after bathing though and a good sunscreen will come in handy.

Another thing, BEWARE OF FAKE!

See you in my next post.

  1. Coconut oil might not be suitable for every skin type. If it melts easily I guess you could avoid taking leaving the soap in a moist area, like your bathroom etc.
