How to Apply False Eyelashes(Falsies)

How to Apply False Eyelashes(Falsies)
The first time I tried my hands on Falsies was two years ago(back then it was THE Rave.) And It was humiliating. First, I wasn't sure if they go below or above the natural lash line and if to apply before or after my eye makeup. That and how much glue to put on the lash strip so they glue/stick to my lids, without them falling or blinding my eyes( I've heard stories!). My first attempt was the scariest and several epic fails and attempts after that, before I finally mastered them. So don't give up. Falsies have the ability to transform your look, without them your makeup looks bare.
Besides, if we're really honest, Lash extensions and lifts are tedious and expensive. And False lashes are really the best alternative, for that budget friendly slay. Even Celebrities use them! They're already made and pre plucked and very affordable. Talk about fast too, easy to remove. Interesting part is, you can do it yourself, anywhere, anytime.
False eyelashes are a fun, simple way to enhance your facial features, mix up your normal style and bring more attention to your eyes, whether your looking to achieve a dramatic, doll-like, natural, or fierce look, falsies are an essential way to go. Though it may take you several tries to master them, applying false lashes is incredibly easy and should only take a few minutes once you get the hang of it.
Shall we begin...
Things You'll Need:
False eyelashes
Eyelash glue/Adhesive
Mirror
Eyelash Applicator/ tweezer
Mascara
Eyelash Separator/ tweezer/ Comb
Make Up Removing Wipes
Follow these simple steps:
Step 1 -Size your Falsies.
Most lash packs don't indicate which lash goes on which eye (L or R), The easiest way to know is to hold the lash tray outward to your forehead, with the lash wing/hairs facing downwards! Mark them out. Lashes should be longer toward the outer corner of the eye.
Hold the lash strips up against your eyelid, and trim them down on the sides where necessary. If the lashes are too long for your personal taste, consider trimming the individual lashes down to achieve a more natural look.
You can stack on the extra bits of lash strips at the ends or inner corners of your eyes for extra definition if you want(its better than waste), or you can use it when you just want a bit more emphasis on top of your natural, more prominent outer lashes.
Step 2 - The Glue Process
Apply a thin layer of glue along the eyelash strip with an applicator or toothpick  -trust me-its a mess when you use your fingers. Allow the glue to dry for a moment before applying it to your lashes. Don't just glob it on and immediately stick it to your eyelid. You've got to wait and let that goo dry a little — but not too much. About 30 seconds should do it, enough to leave it feeling tacky but not wet. During that 30 seconds, better distribute the adhesive onto the ends so they don't lift while you're wearing them. Alternatively you can squeeze a thin line of lash glue onto the back of your non-dominant hand. Then, gently run the outer seam of the eyelash strip along it. Blow on the strip for 30 seconds.
Step 3 - This Little Tip Helps
Place the strip on your eyelid, positioning it as close as possible to your natural lash line. Bring the strip down from above, not from the front. This is to ensure that you get as close as possible to your lash line. Look downwards into a mirror, not straight ahead. If you place a mirror under your face nearly to a perpendicular angle and look down, your eyelid will extend, almost like you're closing your eyes, but you'll be better able to see exactly where to place the strip. This little tip helps. It's so much easier than staring into a vertical mirror and poking yourself in the eyes whilst your head is tilted back at wildly uncomfortable angles.
Don't close your eyes(blink) when applying and don't cringe (don't even breath for a second or two), because doing otherwise changes your eye shape. This is kind of difficult to do at first, but you'll get it. I believe in you. You can place lash strips with your fingers but I find that using tweezers helps, a lot.
Step 4 - Patience is key
Allow the glue to dry naturally on your eyelids. Once you're able to get the strip in place, you do not need to press or hold down while it dries (it only takes a minute to dry.), but avoid blinking to keep the lash from falling off. So be patient. You can also flick out the ends(hairs), so it blends with your natural lashes.
Step 5 - Mascara Call
Apply mascara to your lashes. This will help blend your natural lashes with the false ones, achieving a more natural look. You can use black, brown, or any color of mascara.
Step 6 - Use eyeliner to camouflage the strip's band.
Apply liquid eyeliner (or gel liner with an angled eyeliner brush, if you prefer) along your upper lids. Draw a line extending the band from where it begins to the inner corner of your eye. Be sure to fill in any gaps between the false lashes and your own to make them look more natural. Use black, brown, or dark gray liner.
Step 7- Glam Ready Lashes
Take a moment to Check and ensure you've finished. Look at the inner and outer corners, are they properly placed down? Any fly ways? If there's a problem, use a clean toothpick to press them in place. You're now glam ready !
EASY, you see? Now go forth Lash goddesses...

Question
How and what will I use to clean them, and will the glue come off?

You can use oils, soapy water or makeup remover to remove them and, yes, the glue will come off, but you should replace falsies often to prevent any germs.
Question
Can I wear false lashes while bathing?
Answer
Why not? Use a towel and a mild soap for your face and be careful around the eyes. DUO glue is a waterproof adhesive, but it will eventually loosen if it gets soaking wet.
Question
Can I reuse the lashes?
Answer
Absolutely, but always clean them after use and place them back in the box after they dry.
Question
What do you need for applying?

Question
Can fake eyelashes be reused?
Answer
Yes, The eyes are sensitive but, Falsies can be reused if they are not one time use and they have been cleaned immediately after they've been removed.

They are placed just above your natural eyelashes. They shouldn't be glued to your eyelashes, but be as close as possible.

TIPS
Make sure you put your eye makeup on before your eyelashes are glued down. Depending on how long and thick the eyelashes are, they might be difficult to put eye shadow on after.
If you'd like to skip wearing false eyelashes, you can curl your eyelashes. To curl your lashes use a lash curler and the wand from your mascara (for extra volume use fiber rich mascaras or baby's powder) Carefully move the wand across your lashes in a zig-zag motion. Then curl your lashes at the tips and hold the wand in place for 10 seconds then wiggle. Once you release the wand you'll have curly lashes.
Remove false lashes before sleeping to avoid eye irritation.
After you take off your false eyelashes use coconut oil or a make up removing wipe to remove the mascara and eyeliner.
You can reuse fake eyelashes. Just check the pack for care and instructions.
Apply individual lashes the same way as strips of lashes. When applying them, start in the outer corner and work your way in.
If the glue process is too much of a stress for you, you can buy/use self-adhesive false eyelashes. This will help save time and allow you to apply false eyelashes without using glue.
Thoroughly clean and store the false lashes if you plan to use them again. Use a q-tip or cotton pads or wool and eye makeup remover to clean off any remaining adhesive, eyeliner, or mascara. Using rubbing alcohol also helps disinfect breeding germs. Store lashes in the case they came in.
Remove the lashes with oils on cotton pads instead of water. It is the quickest, easiest, and cheapest way.
Use a toothpick to help "position" the lash in place, when your fingers are unsteady.
Draw eyeliner with a steady hand. An irregular line looks unprofessional and unappealing.
If you're not able to curl your lashes by using the wand from your mascara you can still get the look of false eyelashes. This can be done by using mascara and an eyelash separator. Use the eyelash separator at the root of your natural eyelashes before applying the mascara. This will keep the mascara from clumping and add volume to your lashes. Then carefully apply three coats of mascara to complete your look from root to tip. This will make it look like you're wearing false eyelashes.
Warnings
False lashes do not have expiration dates, but after 2 or 3 use it is advisable to use new ones or read the instructions on the pack for care directions.
Wash your hands before applying false lashes or other eye makeup.
Do not share false eyelashes or eye makeup, as this spreads germs from one eye to the other.
If you use your mascara wand to curl your lashes to give you the look of false eyelashes be careful not to accidentally poke yourself in the eye.
If you get glue or makeup in your eye, immediately rinse it out with warm water. Seek medical care if you cannot remove the glue.
Be gentle when you use your lash separator or you'll yank off your lashes.
