Then apply hair cream to the roots (the parting) of your hair, and braids, you only need so little. Go for anti-dandruff hair creams, to keep those hair pests away. Damatol is a very good example, that is if youre looking for a decent smelling hair cream.

When showering in the morning and at night and youre the type of person who loves to bath with hot water, protect your hair with a shower cap. Hot water shrinks synthetic hair and helps loosen the grip of braids.
Use only cold water.
Carry a small brush and a gel in your bag when going out. Or apply a good styling gel before heading out.
Use clips and scarf to nicely pack or style your hair. Rock different versatile hairdos.
Never use your fingers to scratch an itchy scalp or hair, instead use a plastic tail comb or those roller pins.
