Toilet infections
Toilet infections- relatively akin to vaginal infections, are characterised by the inflammation of the vagina and vulva (Vulvaginitis). This article explores the prevention mechanisms and signs of a possible infection and it is important to note that infections-contracted might have been triggered by Bacteria, yeast infections, trichomoniasis, Vaginal atrophy and irritants. SIGNS OF A POSSIBLE INFECTION
-Vaginal itching
-Discharge from the vagina fishy smell
-A change in the colour of the vaginal discharge
-Vaginal bleeding or spotting
-Pain during sexual intercourse
HOW TO AVOID / PREVENT INFECTIONS
-Using a condom during sexual intercourse will lower the risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections
- Maintain proper hygiene- a) Avoid disrupting the ph. balance of your vagina by douching etc, b) use toilet facilities that have sufficient water supply and are clean
-Exercise frequently
-Take fruits and probiotics or prebiotics regularly to boast the immune system
-The fabrics of your underwear should be more breathable, preferably cotton.
